7665d8f32a add liscence to top of files 
this is due to the fact that the liscense likely won't be with the
files on the user's computer

cea46259ba make the plugin definition more verbose, and less strict. 
stop script from cloning if there are no new commits.
make the code a tiny bit cleaner.
